As long as the war continues, we will not participate in it with military means to ensure free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. To this day, we are not aware of any concept as to how such an operation could succeed at all. The United States of America and Israel did not consult us before this war either. Regarding Iran, there has never been a joint decision on the 'whether.' Therefore, the question of how Germany will get involved militarily here does not arise. We will not do it.
