The first ever Eagles game I’ve been to. Got to see all of these except for the Dotson catch since I was in the store because I had to buy a Barkley jersey after the hurdle.

Very true The Smith catch was the best catches of the year league wide.

Any of the top 5 plays could have been the play of the year for a different team. If the Jags were a better team people would be remembering this more as the craziest game of the year

WORLD FUCKING CHAMPS1 year ago

I remember the terrible call they made when they say Saquon fumbled. Unbelievable. Eagles had it won EASILY without that play.

For sure, that play made it a 1 score game and gave them life

The last time the Eagles paid a LB was in 2018 when they resigned Nigel Bradham to a 5 year 40M deal as he was a big part of the 2017 Top 5 Defense who then went on to win a Super Bowl. He had some off the field issues that eventually got him off the team but I think Eagles fan forget how good he was and how many big time plays he made. He was one of the best Eagles LB’s they have had over the last 10-20 years so let’s check out his Top 5 Plays as an Eagle: 1. INT of Rodgers to end the Packers game in 2019 2. Fumble recover TD vs Dallas in 2017 3. Fumble recover TD vs Washington to end the game in 2019 4. INT vs the Bears in 2016 5. Force Fumble vs Bengals in 2016

It feels like every week this season someone is claiming that was Jordan’s Davis best game of his career but yesterday truly was: 5 tackles 1 sack A 4th and 1 TFL 2 blocked FGs including the game winner First career TD The breakout has finally arrived and this is why you don’t give up on young talented defensive linemen as it takes 3-4 years for some players and we are finally seeing it pay off. Here are a handful of his best plays from his breakout game which will forever be known as “The Jordan Davis Game.”

Eagles/Rams 2001 NFC Championship: The 2001 Eagles were that seasons feel good story, going from 5 wins two years earlier to their first NFC title game since 1980 as they were facing a 14-2 Rams team fresh off a recent Super Bowl win. Few gave Philly a chance, but the Eagles controlled much of the game and even led at halftime after a last minute McNabb to Pinkston TD. Then Marshall Faulk took over. Two 1 yard 2nd half TDs swung the game and put the Rams up 12. Down but not out, McNabb answered with a TD drive to cut it to 5, and the defense forced a quick 3 and out to give the Eagles one last shot. That’s where it ended. The offense stalled, and McNabb’s 4th down INT to Aeneas Williams sealed it, 29-24. A turning point for the NFC: the Rams never reached another title game with that core, while the Eagles went on to make the next three, taking over the conference and people understand this game was their arrival moment.

Broncos vs Rams Game Breakdown 3 Things we learned from the Broncos 1. The Denver Broncos are the best second half team in the NFL. 3rd downs and Redzone efficiency are the reason. 3rd down: 2-6 in the 1st half against the Rams. Came out of halftime and convert 4 of their first 5 to score 16 unanswered points to tie the game. Red-zone efficiency: Denver went 3-for-3 on TDs after the Rams were 1-for-4 in the 1st half. 2. Talanoa Hufanga is the face of defense and looked like Ed Reed out there. 3. The Rams are the most disappointing team in the NFL through the first 3 weeks of the season.

I love that the problem everyone has with the tush push this week, has absolutely nothing to do with the actually pushing portion. Like banning the tush push doesn’t even stop what they have an issue with from the play this last week. The Eagles still could have done exactly what they did last week with it being a regular QB sneak. Officials being more stringent on players aligning in the neutral zone and false starts is the only way to stop what everyone has an issue with. And I get it, there were at last a couple from the game that were too early, and should be called false starts. It is an extremely hard thing to officiate, and good players on both sides of the ball jump the snap and use the neutral zone to their advantage on multiple downs and plays throughout the game. Getting rid of the tush push will not stop the issue everyone is riled up about.
