I first heard about it from @CharlesOrtel who had seen it in a @FoxNews article published by @MaliaMZimmerman coincidentally, nine years (3x3) to the day after the original letter, weird right?

That's the letter that got Epstein his impossible plea deal. It wasn't addressed to Alexander Acosta as I mistakenly recalled, but that's because skilled Lawfare scumbags like Dersh know to target the line AUSA, the guys who make the charging decisions and write the indictments.

anyway, there's this other letter that I just found tonight, from Acosta to Epstein's lawyers. I don't think it's too widely known but it was leaked by law professor Paul Caron on his blog back in 2019 when Epstein got pinched. It's explosive!

Acosta was pissed off that Epstein’s lawyers wrote the deal. DOJ let Epstein settle civil claims as if he’d been convicted—without ever charging him. He waived liability under 18 U.S.C. §2255, and victims couldn’t sue under other laws. No trial. No justice. Just protection.
