I was in Poland on work for a week about 3 weeks ago. The factory i was visiting was a big machine shop and was in a village in the middle of nowhere. The factory was not located in a dedicated industrial area or anything like that. There were residences around too. They had uninterrupted 3-phase power and functional roads. Workers were from nearby villages and towns. Dear Narendra Modi sir, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Piyush Goyal If we have to industrialise, we need to liberalise land laws. Please enable SMEs with investment less than 10 crores and which dont harm the environment to buy land and setup factories in villages in whatever land they can get hold of. The biggest road blocks to do it are a plethora of permissions needed, land conversion laws and uninterrupted 3-phase power. We need 3-phase electrification all over the country as urgently as we need highways. Enabling industrialisation in villages will help keep the capital costs low and accelerate manufacturing entrepreneurship. It will help in equipping our youth with skills and jobs closer to home, it will help declog cities and improve the quality of life for millions. By the way, 👇 was the drive to work everyday there and this is very much possible in India too.

Elon just clarified the plan for building the TERAFAB. The Advanced Technology Fab built at Giga Texas will not be “the TERAFAB.” It will be a smaller fab where they will iterate on chip designs. The TERAFAB wouldn’t even fit on the Giga Texas campus. Several sites for the TERAFAB are under consideration, and it will need thousands of acres and over 10 GW of power at full scale. My opinion: To put this in perspective, Tesla would need 2,000-5,000 acres for the entire TERAFAB lot. This would equal ~87-200 million square feet of available land space for power and battery backup with Megapacks, with ~20-60 million square feet of available space for the actual building. Just for reference, backing up a facility like this with a ~5-15 minute battery backup would require 168 Megapacks and it would for sure need its own power production such as natural gas turbines or maybe even its own dedicated power plant. A 1 MW (1,000 kW) wind turbine that produces 2,190,000 kWh of electricity during a year has achieved a capacity factor of 25%. That is 2,190,000 kWh divided by 1,000 kW x 8,760 hours; or 2,190,000 divided by 8,760,000 = .25). When they tell you a 2 MW wind turbine can power 500 homes in reality it can only power 125 homes but that also requires the ramping up and down of coal/natural gas/nuclear or hydro plants. For a minute keep your politics aside, who you voted for aside, whataboutery aside, farm fire vs fire crackers aside and ask yourself just one question.. don’t we need to do a lot more for a better, cleaner future not just for our children but our nation, would it be too much to ask from governments (irrespective of which party in power) to prioritise the air we breathe? Do we ask questions about the silence of the environment ministers, our senior ministers in the cabinet? Flew in from Mumbai today into Delhi and this is the difference. We need to do better.

When I was 16, all I wanted was a red Trans Am. My parents said they couldn’t afford it, but I’d been working since I was 10, so I did what any hard-headed kid would do. I bought one with my own money. It looked just like this car. I wrecked it a few times, beat the hell out of it, and eventually let it go 🏎️ 💨 Fast forward about a decade ago, I decided I had to have one again. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find a fully loaded Trans Am. Power windows, power brakes, power steering, 4-speed, 6.6L, honeycomb wheels, and the Hurst T-tops.

Please Lord, save us from this imbecile. The "biggest threat to blackouts" is his ignorance and stupidity. Solar breaks down when the clouds come across, and it breaks down 100% when the sunsets. And wind is more chaotic, breaking down all the time when the wind eases off or doesn’t blow enough. In fact wind is lucky to work at just h30% of its capacity - meaning it’s broken down 70%. Blackout Bowen is actually making the case why we need to start building new coal fired power stations yesterday. China currently has a fleet of 1,147 GW of coal-fired power, with a further 421 GW of new coal fired power stations under construction & development. In contrast Australia’s total fleet is an ageing 21GW of coal fired power, which Blackout Bowen wants to close down. If you are going to bed, say a prayer for Australia.

How this isn’t being covered by our local media is beyond me. How this isn’t NATIONAL NEWS is beyond me. Here you have an entire county, two towns, and a nonprofit suing to protect itself from authoritarian solar overreach out of Albany. This same county, the Town of Glen, and GlenFARMLand also sued a few months ago over Mill Point Solar. That is 7 total lawsuits out of one county in the span of 3 months in an effort to protect itself. Why do we all need to sue? ORES was created in a way where it supersedes local zoning and moratoriums, as well as our home rule that is granted to New York citizens in our state constitution. It does it all to forcibly site wind and solar against the will of the rural residents, town supervisors, and county attorneys. And legacy media wonders why it’s dying in our world today. What a joke.

I used to ask my New York friends Who were living in nyc check to check With a 80- 100k a year salary Why not move down south Where you can make that 100k Really feel like 100k And you can have a home a yard And more luxuries And they loved nyc so much that even though it made logical sense to move They would rather struggle And say “I live in NYC” Than ball and say I live in “Charlotte, Savannah, Charleston” Which would give them a better quality of life It took me a while to realize that The big city is so much a part of their identity Even if its pricing them out and has them living next to mice It’s so much apart of them that if they can’t say “I live in nyc” to someone who doesn’t They would lose part of their whole identity I say all that to say Chicago people are the same way

The Englishman stood there listening quietly. After 20 minutes of giving all sorts of excuses, my African brother looked up at the quiet Englishman, hoping he understood why he travelled thousands of kilometres to come to England to work in menial jobs! The Englishman ask him "Can I exchange my fully paid flat and give you the title deeds and my 2 cars for your 10 hectares of land in Africa?" The African brother was stunned. He did not understand why a white man with a fully furnished flat and everything, would want to go and farm on a rural undeveloped land. The white guy sat him down and explained: ask any white man, he would gladly develop that land into a highly successful farm. He would grow high value crops eg all types of vegetables, strawberries, start cattle fattening programmes and develop a highly successful farm. The Englishman told him all the wealth is in that piece of land. He can make millions of dollars from that fertile land. The African brother spent days pondering about what his white friend said. After several months of planning and selling all he had in England, my brother came back home and started farming on his 10 hectares of land: putting up a borehole, installing solar energy, started poultry, piggery and cattle fattening and a horticulture project. We should never under-value our rural farms and travel to go work in distant lands. Our future is in developing our rural land and turn it into highly productive farms. Here is Wenceslous Nyamupfukudza, a youth farmer, consultant and agribusiness expert helping all farmers including those developing in rural communities. He developed his rural farm and grows all types of vegetables and keeps cattle. He teaches other rural farmers how to effectively and efficiently use the land for maximum agricultural productivity. We need to change our mindset about the land in our rural areas! It is our wealth!!! Knowledge is potential power, understand and grow your specialised knowledge - Think and Grow rich!

Things I said were coming YEARS ago that people said would never happen regarding wildfire: • California Fair Plan would need bailing out. ($1 Billion) • People in California and the west would lose their insurance due to wildfire threats. (Millions of households) • The public power safety shutoff system policy would backfire, and power might be shut off even without wildfire threats. (Look at California today.) • People would forget about the Maui fire in Lahaina, and the community would struggle to rebuild. (They did.) • Autonomous drone systems in the market for wildfires. (On the market.) • Unification of fire Agencies (Announced.) • A national wildfire chief. (Announced.) • Oregon power company will be sued until bankruptcy due to wildfire lawsuits. (Announced liquidity issues this week.) • Consolidation of wildfire regions. (Announced) • The transition to an all electric wildfire vehicle fleet would fail, resulting in millions of $ lost. (It did.) • Cloud seeding used to increase winter and spring precipitation by western states to lower wildfire risks. Entrepreneurship is a luxury. When I dropped out of college and asked my parents for that one chance, I genuinely felt this might be the only opportunity I would ever get to do something meaningful. If I wasted it, I couldn’t blame anyone else. That mindset changes how you work. You stop treating it like an experiment. You treat it like responsibility. In India, we don’t just need more startups. We need founders who understand the privilege of building. If you get the chance, approach it like it’s once in a lifetime.

UNBELIEVABLE… In South Carolina Trump literally just said he told a NATO ally that he would encourage Russia to “do whatever they want” when that ally asked if he would protect them if Russia attacked, and they didn’t pay enough money. Trump: “One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, ‘Well sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?’ I said, ‘You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent?’ He said, ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.” It’s one thing to encourage other nations to pay their fair share. It’s another to imply you’d actively encourage Russia to attack a NATO ally. How can any Republican stand up for what was just said this evening?

UNBELIEVABLE… In South Carolina Trump literally just said he told a NATO ally that he would encourage Russia to “do whatever they want” when that ally asked if he would protect them if Russia attacked, and they didn’t pay enough money. Trump: “One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, ‘Well sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?’ I said, ‘You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent?’ He said, ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.” It’s one thing to encourage other nations to pay their fair share. It’s another to imply you’d actively encourage Russia to attack a NATO ally. How can any Republican stand up for what was just said this evening?

There is a state park by me that closes when the sun goes down for safety reasons. I always see people find a way in there to do what they need to do. No matter what they do mayor be add a gate or even have more law enforcement, there’s no stopping it. These people are sitting in their car. They see people walking in and out of the woods while they are sitting there eating and chatting. The people going in and out look so out of place, like they are in a zombie apocalypse. If I saw people just struggling in and out of the woods, looking dirty, no flashlights at all. I would think they are up to something. Especially for the hikers making their way back and hearing rumbling and voices I would be creeped out too.

I try my best to not talk about Irish politics, but getting sent things like this by my Garda friends just angers me too much. This happened today. The police (Gardai) in Ireland have been attacked and bullied by scumbags for years now. They know they can get away with it. Stripped of any power to do anything about it. The Gardai are trained to retreat and not engage when violence breaks out. This is what happens when you remove your police forces ability to police. The Gardai voted with an enormous majority vote of no confidence against the head of the Gardai. Our minister for justice ignored them. Overworked, underpayed, and stripped of any protection in policing. I know policing in America is a sore topic for good reason. Ye are on the other side of the spectrum. Too much power. This is what happens when you swing to the other side. Chaos. I’m ashamed of how Ireland is being governed. A failed socialist state. It’s why I left, and it’s why I won’t be going back any time soon. Helen McEntee, you need to resign.
