@Pixel08945580 REAL, it sucks that everytime before a ranked session you have to accept that there WILL be a thrower in atleast one of your games.

I was already mad when I realized after reporting several throwers i never got the points back, but also when my friend jokingly reported me, it said i was "punished" just for my acc to be fine Who knows how many throwers didnt even get a penalty with how this system lies

@trsttime Marvel rivals doesn’t care to stop throwers stopping them would mean banning them and they love that sweet sweet money so We have to pressure them or else they will leave them they don’t care

You NEED to start implanting the fear of the ban. All you need is the “eh I really don’t want the hour plus ban” to switch the mindset. First offense hour ban Second offense 8hrs Third offense 24 hrs Forth offense season ban

Also just the whole playerbase having the mental of a wet sheet of paper. Having be the team emotional counselor every game to stop half the team trying to f5 after one fight loss is getting old. Thats a harder problem to fix so at least do something about the blatant throwing.

Hobby. It’s one game. I’ve played with throwers too. I report, I move on, maybe I grab a snack while they’re throwing. It’s 5-10 minutes

I saw people post point refunds day of the update that added it, havent seen it since that day. I've gotten a bunch of people supposedly banned who jump off map etc, never a single time refunded any points

This may be a bit of a hot take, but I think using voice coms to flame other people on your team makes you just as bad as someone who throws bc you are flaming them. Both are not acceptable and should be punished.

Not in nay capacity. Toxicity is one thing and there are levels of it. But actively throwing and afking is a whole diff thing You can mute someone for being toxic or ignore them. You can’t do anything about someone actively sabotaging a teamplay game

Flaming shifts blame and brings down the morale of the whole team. its very rare that I've won a game where the mental has been cooked from some weirdo flaming someone else. yeah you can mute, but it tanks everyone mental and everyone plays worse.

Oh for sure but one problem at a time. Actively banning afks is easy. Punishing based offflaming is hard. In reality sometimes criticism is a good thing a team has to hold eachother accountable. So then it’s difficult to moderate every convo and determine and what is a crime of toxicity and what is a crime of passion and wanting to win

The amount of throwing I've seen this season has been the worst I think I've ever had in this game tbh. To @MarvelRivals credit I have received point comp from Guang Guang twice this season

It’s not just the throwers there are at least 100x the amount of cheaters this season. They aren’t being punished. My theory is teams being reallocated to different projects in game and punishment has taken a back burner.

yeah the quantity of throwers is insane in ranked, i legit have 1 in 4 game a 5 minute game, that is so embarassing by the game, 25% of my games are just fucking bad and unenjoyable whatsoever, the matchmaking is garbage, throwers gets unpunished and teh rank system sucks.

The amount of throwers I’ve encountered is insane. Just because things ain’t going their way. When you call them out you could potentially get chat banned as well. The devs need to fix that as well because comms can go a long way from a victory or a defeat

Devs are from the island bro never seen such retardation. Cant believe they made a big deal about increasing bans from minutes to hours. 1st offence needs to be 14 day ban and then a perma just like in league. They need to also do full lp refunds for afk and throwers.

someone left the match after the first team fight and the game gave us the option to surrender which we did and it still took -20 points

I don’t get the energy in qeueing up for a ranked match then just losing all of that energy just to sit in spawn. Even if I’m not having a good time, there’s no sense in just not even trying anymore. That’s such a difference in mentality.

And this is why we also can't use win rates to have healthy discussions about hero balancing. Like, all these things are so deeply intertwined and it's frustrating because I love the genre, I love the IP, and I love the way it plays. But the people... they ruin so much.

Out of 7 ranked placement matches, 6 of them had at least one thrower on my team or the other team. Worst season by far

I’ve had one gameplay on a platinum rank that this player got pissed of that namor was banned, so he decided to full on throw and he had 1-13 and it completely ruined the game for both me and my team. I reported him with evidence and they never replied back about it.

I think I’ve legitimately only had points refunded once ever and not for a leaver ( I have had point compensation for leavers) I forgot for what, the system is so bad

They have to stop using AI for bans

Harsher penalties need to kick in. 15 minutes can’t just be the default slap on the wrist. Repeat offenders need to be sent to the gulag but they fear that they may never return to the game GOOD! The players impacted may never return to the game, fear that instead

Dont you love it when you won the first round, and they start to afk afk at the 2nd round ? Now you're 5v6 , possible stall the game to 3rd and 4rd round, waiting for you inevitable lost.

Literally feels like my team every time has someone that throws or quits. No matter what. We can be winning and they just vanish.
