US service members get competitive base pay plus housing allowance, food allowance, comprehensive healthcare for themselves and their families (TRICARE), education benefits through the GI Bill, low-cost life insurance, and a solid retirement package after 20 years. Even after service they still enjoy VA loans, healthcare, and other support. That is what a country that values its soldiers looks like. Here, rank-and-file soldiers are used as propaganda tools while the top brass enrich themselves. He should keep supporting the same system that keeps him poor. It only shows how irrelevant his voice has become.
