I do agree with her I wouldn’t necessarily quit my job, but there’s always the possibility of complications in any pregnancy, any complications during birth, or baby has any issues after birth The father needs to be ready to be in charge. I’m not in favor of doing nothing during pregnancy, but every pregnancy is different, and that has to be accounted for before planning to have babies.

Being pregnant myself, here’s my stance: I’m contributing as long as I’m at my job. But I will have a very hard time once I no longer receive income, so I will need my husband to cover that slack while I have/tend to the baby. We’re partners. Not roommates.
