Vim users 😂

This is the way @calebporzio

I havnt used tabs in years, for this exact reason. The concept of tabs doesn't make sense inside of an editor. There is no state to be had inside the tab, so it's pointless. Once you go 'no tabs' you'll never go back. 👍

Going to try. Revolution?

Ctrl + p is enough, if you decide to push # in Ctrl + p it's even more cracked

goto symbol super handy

I see it as the classic UI pattern: When you lay out a menu, if it's over, like 4 elements, then the horizontal layout is overwhelming. We've learnt a long ago that for more items, we go vertical. File tabs are just that: a quickly growing horizontal menu – kinda terrible. When you turn them off, you learn to rely on the more convenient vertical layout (that you get with cmd+p). Plus, you get the search:)

Absolutely no need for tabs. Or the mouse.

This is the famous single responsibility principle. Would help to keep focus on. I like it.

What if VS Code only allowed you to have two tabs open in the free version, but if you wanted more you had to pay, like TablePlus?
