Do we really live in a free country?

HSBC closed my personal accounts because I own a #Bitcoin company. Almost every big UK bank rejected me for mortgages 7 years ago because I own a #Bitcoin company. My #Bitcoin company couldn't bank in the UK for 6 years because, well, Bitcoin. Ironically #Bitcoin will fix this.

@kaiviti_cam Outrageous - Nigel Farage had his bank account closed down and no other UK Bank will allow him to open a new one. This is political persecution - completely unacceptable in the free West.

A bank does not cancel the account of a client of 43 years due to a “commercial decision”. This was evidently political. @spectator suggests the bank is possibly @CouttsandCo a 300 year old bank, fully owned by the RBS group. If the British public allow this to stand Britain is doomed!!
