Kinda. I think they can t fully do what they did in the past, but AS could have became the old flagship (OGs + more fun and messy) and the flagship they should have kepts as more of a head to head sports in extreme conditions. Now both are a weird mix and its serving confused.

I agree with her. Plus theirs no drama. It’s definitely not what it used to be, and all it’s been lately is a let down!!!

This season seemed like another dedicated to those who can’t win when the real competitors are playing. WE NEED NEW BLOOD. The addition of people Harrachio, Kyland, and Olivia is what is sustaining the show right now, in my belief.

Road Rules been dead for damn near 20 years. Why do folks act like if you watch The Challenge you can't watch any other network? The average fan probably recognizes Michaela and Michele from Survivor quicker than Adam and Steve.

the flagship started becoming too drama focused during the trilogy (30,31,32) then became too cinematic with worlds I/II AND szns were 18+ episodes but only to accommodate the same ole reheated storylines. all that + heavily recycling vets nd adding unknown rookies tainted it all

I agree. I get RW/RR is no more and they have to bring on people from other shows, but those people should remain on the flagship. If they ARE going to use people from other shows and fresh meat on All Stars, they should be OGs.

1000% agreed. My obsession with the challenge stopped when they started brining in randos from all these other shows. I was fine with Big brother and even survivor being in. Anything more than that was too much. Even for All stars, there should be a clear understanding of what and who should be on there

I kinda agree. I would feel pissed if I’m a top notch competitor having to compete with people who quit challenges.

The games are usually whack, we see Bananas, Nany, and Aneesa and others every single season with only a handful of young newcomers, and half the cast of the show are 40 so it’s boring

They should introduce new players with Fresh Meat seasons. That’s how we have Laurel, CM, etc., and continue to grow the competitive side.

The solution is so so simple- bring back the Real World and/or Road Rules. You can even throw in Are You The One cast. We need the OG legacy shows to gain fan buy-in and trust, and to replenish the competitor stock. It’s so simple it hurts. 🫠

Sounds like she should watch the other shows they pull people from to get to know they. Big Brother has live feeds where you can watch players 24/7 during the season so it’s no excuse not to know who they are if they were to come on the Challenge.

I agree with you whole heartedly!! This is why I stopped a long time ago. Then restarted. I LOVE the OGs because I watched RW & RR. There’s SOME BB players I really like bc they fit in great. The others I can’t get behind.They play like it’s BB & that’s not what we want to see.
