I was with the mom up until the dad said that the daughter feels uncomfortable. I’m not with making kids hug, kiss, or converse with anyone that they’re not comfortable with.

As a child, my mother didn't let me sit on any man's lap. Not even a relative. I understand the father's reaction.

He was right and the daughter told her mother "it made me feel uncomfortable mama" the mother should've ended the conversation right then... Basically she has zero respect for how the daughter feels and has zero respect for how the father feels about being a dad
