Do you believe that the ANC is intentionally collapsing infrastructure because they want to exploit tenders & make as much money as they can... because they can see they are losing power?

@GodPenuel When tenders become the business model, service delivery becomes secondary. Collapse creates contracts. Contracts create cash. South Africans pay the price.

@GodPenuel The collapse of the infrastructure has happened over time and I do not think it was deliberate. Yes their action resulted in the collapse and that was the only outcome of continuous looting, but I do not think it was deliberate. Everything snow balled to where we are now.

@GodPenuel With their refusal to call in the Chinese to help re-build our infrastructure its clear that the destruction of and incl our key points is deliberate

@GodPenuel Probably, but you are giving them perhaps a little too much credit - maybe they just aren’t that smart

@GodPenuel The "losing power" bit is irrelevant. They would exploit tenders either way.

@GodPenuel The collapse of South Africa's infrastructure is multifold: 1. Mismanage state enterprises until they fail so that they can be sold off to allies at less than their value. 2. Sabotage public infrastructure so that you can issue inflated tenders to repair them to allied companies.

@GodPenuel It's a mixture: 1. International collapse to chow. 2. Incompetence. 3. They have lost control.

Lack of citizenry responsibility and accountability, always scapegoating to blame ANC and the government. Citizens are enablers, the ones who front for these tenders, the technicians or whoever they strategically use to collapse the infrastructure, politicians has little power than we imagine in a multiparty democracy and we give them so much credit. You even look at how they idolise ideologies that facilitate divide and conquer so that we always fight for wrong things. And even people who enter this country take advantage of the setup because all citizens do is blame the government and ANC👍🏾

@GodPenuel I don't know who told them they have to destroy to make money🤦🏿 Money can be made building too, this is the mentality the taxi industry has and thus its stuck in time, not moving forward without someone having to die. Power to the people I guess 🙄

@GodPenuel No, not intentional. Just incompetence and greed - which leads to collapsing infrastructure.

@GodPenuel I honestly believe this; in fact, they are collapsing everything to line their pockets, as seen with the water tanks. Their modus operandi is to create chaos, then propose a solution through the tender system.

@GodPenuel The collapsing of infrastructure was caused by tender system, we put everything in tender even grass cutting. Look how bad this company ate cutting grass on the road. Tender people focus on profit than service delivery. Once we go away with this tender system corruption will end.

@GodPenuel No in general I believe they don’t employ the best candidates for jobs and therefore create or build incompetent teams. Simply put employ competent people across board with a desire to serve their fellow South Africans.

@GodPenuel No. This is just the default outcome of Bantu culture. This converting everything into a shit hole tendency (aka decolonisation) is the default for all Bantu cultures. South Africa's Bantus are no different from the rest of Africa.
