Genuine question - why do you use this sort of romanization? غربت is technically Arabic - but so integrated into Farsi as a loanword it makes little sense to transliterate it as "ghurbat". No vav. No [uː]. Would you agree we need more consistency when romanizing Farsi? A new way?

Being Mexican is not related to race, religion, etc. They are a liberal state like all others in the New World. Japan is an island. France purged and assimilated everyone before cameras were invented. Israel is going on a circa 1250 medieval religious war and a circa 1850 nation-building project in 2025. That's why it looks bad; it's out of place. After WW2, we decided not to do this stuff anymore. You are essentially saying, "Why can't China assimilate and expel Uyghurs? Look What America did to Natives!"
