Changing your ball during a hole is a penalty, right? Not always! Remember, any time you take relief - whether that's free relief or penalty relief - you're allowed to use the original ball or change to a different one.

Did a video tour of the plunge pool deck this morning, which is open to the public. As you can see, it sits to the right of the 18th green. If a player misses one badly to the right and finds the pool, she’ll get free relief as it’s a TIO (temporary immovable obstruction). Got me to thinking, has there ever been a situation in professional golf where a player hit into a body of water and received no penalty?

When you're off the green, to get relief from a sprinkler head, you need to have physical interference with your ball, stance, or swing. It might be distracting, and it might even change the next shot you play, but without physical interference, there is no free relief.

Ever end up in a spot where your normal swing just isn't going to work? You can turn around and play it lefty. And if that happens... free relief rules still apply! The best part? Once you've taken relief, you are NOT required to still use the abnormal swing.

Your ball is behind a cart exit sign, are you allowed to move the sign? That depends! If it's easily movable without causing damage, you can simply toss it out of your way. If it's not easily movable, you only get free relief for interference with your lie, stance or swing.

Here's a little known fact about preferred lies... also known as lift, clean and place. Believe it or not, there is NO requirement to mark the spot of the ball before you lift it. This might sound crazy, but this is consistent with all other relief procedures.

This may be the luckiest *bad* shot in all of golf! If you put a ball in play and it somehow ends up back in the teeing area - maybe it ricochets off a tree or you hit a topper - you can tee it up again for your second with no penalty.

Yall been asking where do I fish and well here you go. “Catch'Em Lake” located in the Cordova area. It’s a stocked pond so of course it’s not free but it’s not expensive either. For access to all 4 lakes is only $14 & $11 to fish at the “catfish only lake”.

Wouts Teammates leaving a gap in the Corner so Wout can win. So why has no one ever complained about it as obstruction? Benji Naesen , clearly obstruction if you slow down in the corner to block opponents behind you? Why haven't you criticized this yet? Its clear obstruction but yet in never gets penalized. Spoiler, it doesn't get penalized because it's tactical racing which is why we call this sport road racing and not triathlon. With all due respect, can you explain to me why you see the Gery case as unfair yet you've never complained of these cases in men's cycling to my knowledge that I'm aware of?!
