Yoh, the Pennsylvania Dutch have been known to eat dandelion greens with hot bacon dressing for centuries (which also has hard boiled eggs cut up in it.) If you live in suburbia, I wouldn't though, too many chemicals in the soil and on the grass. Also, we harvest this nutrient rich leafy treat in early spring, before they get tough and bitter.

Asians teach their children to cook and care for themselves. Westerners pay someone else to cook and care for their children

Dandelion taste good and is very healthy. We pick them up, when they are growing in field and forest. In Italy they sell special dandelions - they are huge - 30-40cm. You can eat them as salat or cook like spinach

Those vegetables are probably dandelion. Medicinal and a tasty bitter green. I’ve had them raw in salads and tea from the root.

Yes my grandma use to pick it from the wild during spring time we eat it as salad or cooked like spinach.

This is the first medicinal plant, we/I was taught to use. Every part is harvested and used,at separate times. This is very young bitter greens but loving called, Dandelion.
