ThE PoLiCe aRe GeNoCiDiNg uS!! 🙄 Here’s the context you are too stupid to research: Police received multiple calls that a man named Lemar Brandon Qualls was waving a gun around and pointing it at people in public. One call from a woman: ‘He has a gun. He has put it in front of my face, and he clanked it against a metal bar to let me know it's real.’ You can see the gun in his right hand in the video. Also, this is not Brandon’s porch. This is a complete strangers house. A woman’s. When police confronted Qualls, he pointed his gun at one of them. Qualls fucked around. Qualls found out. If your immediate emotional response to shit like this is based entirely around skin color and not consequences and accountability, you are not a serious person. Famous rapper Julio Foolio was just gunned down last night and none of you will bat an eye because his killer wasn’t white and this is business as usual.

And, the way you always keep the most important person for last, the fact that the apogee of his acceptance speech was about Connor.. he had me sobbing, cause of how completely unguarded and raw Hudson is here. The way the emotion is slowly building up, as he is going down that list, his voice cracking a bit, his hands shaking. And he can feel it slowly, tears forming in his eyes, tears he is holding in the best he can. As he is holding that award, so firmly, that last name on his list, the one that felt like an awakening. An impaired driver stopped a vehicle right on Venice Pier while people were out fishing, then accelerated toward the crowd, including the man recording and his own son. Nobody was hurt, but the pier only has one narrow access point, so if that situation had escalated, there was nowhere for people to safely go. He says he called 911 immediately and was told officers were on the way, but wants to know why a threat like that didn’t get a faster response. We have also hammered the idea of the Lakers being a horrendous transition defense this season, and we know Ja Morant is at his most fun when he gets out in transition. Expect some easy assists on those plays here. Now as far as the Lakers, they don't hide their strategy of "you are either shooting or passing but you are not driving." While that last matchup was the one that started the drama with his comments about the coaches chewing him out mid-game, it did look like he was figuring out how to read it in the 2nd half. The Grizzlies would put Ja Morant on the wing in an ISO position, with everyone cleared out to the other side. The Lakers would have the big show EARLY help on the near side block. Ja Morant would then read the help of the big man and the weakside corner If the big and corner were helping early, he would drive and find the corner. If the big was helping and the corner wasn't, he would find the big on the opposite block. If the big AND the corner were waiting for him to drive before showing help, he would force the switch onto a lesser defender and put the Lakers into a position where they had to show help. On June 1st, Romeo was arriving at work when he was wrongfully taken by ICE. They did not ask his name, did not provide any documentation, and would not give information as to why he was being arrested. According to one of the ICE workers, after the fact, he was not who they were looking for, and despite his having no criminal history, he is still being detained somewhere. The GoFundMe is to help his family be able to afford a lawyer so that he can get the legal help that he deserves and needs. 👉
