Do you like Steve Vai?

Everyone should listen the David Lee Roth's Skyscraper record. With Steve, Billy Sheehan on bass, Gregg Bissonette on the skins and produced by the legend Ted Templeton... it's a brilliant showcase of talent. Amazing record.

Guitar expertise: 10+ Guitar feel: -4 As a much debated comparison on talent, i’ll take God & slow-hand any day over meticulous shredders.

Fucking amazing @stevevai 🙌🏻🙏🙌🏻🎸🏴‍☠️

Meh - this is a bit of a wank-fest.

Not a single memorable or hummable song.

One of the best electric guitar players. Makes Tom morello look like a little shit faced homo

He's a little "too much" for me but I like very much this solo of him :

Zappa outplayed him every night that he was in his band. Ralph Macchio destroys him in Crossroads 😂, but just makes me appreciate his playing more. And Stevie's Spanking is always a fun Zappa romp about a night in Notre Dame with a groupie who loved food 🤣

Don't like him !!. LOVE him he is the definition of genius... 🙏

He’s on my Mount Rushmore of favorite guitar players.

Ultra guitar legend

For my taste, To “noisy” and doesn’t have “sweetness” or “feeling “ or “harmonious” sound that others have

Vai is about 3000 years a head of his time.

Novelty circus act.

דמיינו לעלות לבמה עם כל המפלצת הזאת רק בשביל לנגן מוזיקת מעליות בינונית ומטה

Yes! Seen him twice with DLR and once with Whitesnake. This clip looks a bit Spinal Tappish!

Nashville ‘23. I met Steve after this show. Steve is a class act and so are his sons.

he is the best of the best, most people definitely like him 🤘

Guitar gymnastics with no soul. I couldn't name 5 songs.

I couldn’t name one of his songs but I know he’s a great guitarist.

Not only he one of the best guitarists ever, he's a super nice human

I'd whish that he could spend more time in writing/composing good songs rather than waisting his time trying so hard to impress other guitarrists.

Listen to Vai talk about Zappa. Some funny shìit.

But he was the devil

He’s an amazing guitar player

Meh. Flash, pyrotechnics. No soul.

yeah, he's an artist and he's cool

He aight.

Great guitar player.

Yes !

Vai music in the 90s was phenomenal. After that not so much. Overall a great guitarist🎸
