Controlling feedback is like riding a wave and is incredibly fun. I do not want a device that artificially does this for me. Plus I doubt it can get the subtleties of tone and volume.

These are great for recording direct. I let my buddy use it for a session, he loved it so much I gave it to him and had to buy another. I don't endorse shit.
