Do you remember the Bald Eagle who struck a power line or pole. The eagle was rescued by our volunteer and it was discovered that he suffered a break in his shoulder area. Luckily, with our care he made a full uncomplicated recovery and was successfully returned to the wild!

It's one of the biggest causes of bird loss in North America- people think it's due to electrocution but it's caused by impact and subsequent falls. We can reduce it by putting colorful insulators on wires to make them more visible but that costs $$$ and we're cheap.

When Bruno was rescued, he was so terrified that he seemed almost paralyzed by fear. He trembled, barely dared to move, and had a terrified look in his eyes. He completely distrusted people, possibly because he had suffered severe abuse in the past. Angela devoted a great deal of time, patience, and love to helping Bruno. Little by little, he began accepting food from her hand, then gradually found the courage to come closer, and eventually opened his heart to love. Bruno’s transformation was remarkable: from a dog frozen with fear to a happy boy who wagged his tail with joy and learned to trust people again. After his recovery, Bruno was adopted by a forever family who would love and care for him. ❤️🐶

I remember watching the premiere of “Beware the Batman” where he breaks his shoulder and relocates it by slamming it into a truck. Then ep 2 was delayed, and when they re-aired episode one all the guns were replaced with lasers and the shoulder break was cut out. Disappointing!
