Its inconceivable to me that there exists whole generations who didnt experience Carl Sagan in living colour, or had any idea of the existence of this brilliant mind and the words he said and the work he did.

Sounds cute. But Sagan is dead wrong. The USSR did invade multiple countries in Europe after 1945 and would’ve taken more had the USA not invested those “thousands of billions” in the Cold War. Anyone with an Ukraine flag in their bio should ridicule Carl’s facile analysis here.

@AlboMP @tanya_plibersek @PennySharpemlc @Bowenchris @SueHigginson_ @AbigailBoydMLC @sussanley @DCCEEW @NSWDCCEEW_Water Have you ever considered this….? Surely we need to plan & budget for the WORSE CASE SCENARIO to CLIMATE CHANGE. Guess that should = $10,000,000,000,000,000

I remember Carl Sagan, I will always remember him. The book "Intelligent Life In The Universe" led me from Sci-Fi to Science fact. I read all his books. I was sad for weeks when he died. If the world was governed with reason by philospher kings Sagan should have been one of them.
