Roll credits is more nuanced given that not all games have combat, or simply contain different layers of end states. Is Returnal considered beat after simply finishing act two? Did I “beat” anything in 1000xResist?

Can we also get rid of ''take this with a grain of salt". Or pinch of salt all gaming outlets use this and have not found another term or way of explaining. Please correct.

"Rolling credits" is annoying. Terms like "raw dogging" and "boomer shooter" are even worse imo. Wtf is that? First of all, baby boomers are a generation that don't even play video games because they feel games are below them, or because they are below everything, in the soil.

Completely agree and I'm tired of hearing it. Are people embarrassed about saying they "Beat a Game"?
