I worked at 2 different McDonald's in Europe, grill surfaces are never that bad, they are usually getting cleaned after each portion. What's happening in the video is probably an individual case or a very special country where no one gives a shit in the first place

Do you see how tiny those burgers are? Theres more bread than burger. And they doubled the price in just a few short years. Damn near $4 for less than a dollar menu burrito!

McDonalds doesn't put onions on all their burgers... but otherwise? Frozen patties cooked this way are ensured to reach proper temperature for safety, without relying on skilled cooks. This isn't a bad thing overall. You get frozen patties in most fast food.

There is absolutely nothing wrong here. If you use the grill for burger flesh, it is not meant to stay clean. What you see there is oil from the meat. You can not wash the griller after every grill. No burger restaurant does that. Cleaning of this griller is done after each shift

That's not the process for McDonald burgers. Area is cleaned properly after every cook, no salt or onions put on the burger, timer as well, you don't flip that lid back up. Doesn't look like the same machines either.

I have worked at McDonald's for a while and while that is disgusting and whoever is supposed to be cleaning the Grill should be fired, not all of them look like that. Most mcdonalds have a steam clean every other hour to make sure this doesn't happen.
