I see nothing wrong with 🔥 burning a book that advocates violence, the abuse of women, the rape of underage children, and the murder of the gays. Quite frankly I don’t see how any civilized person with morals could possibly support it.

I support freedom. It is strange how Islamists destroy Churches, Hindu Temples, Buddhist Statues, Synagogues, and historical sites and not one damn Nation does anything about it except Israel. But touch a Mosques or the Quran and World Leaders in the Western World are outraged. Because they are spineless cowards, bending their knees to radical islam.

This man named Bayezid burned the Quran, kicked the Quran repeatedly, and said that the Quran is false. Surely something very tragic must have happened in his life because of the Quran. That is why his reaction is so extreme. This is how a deeply frustrated person reacts. I do not believe in the Quran. But I have two or three Qurans on my bookshelf, including Bengali and English translations. I do not burn them. The thought of burning them never occurs to me. In my writings, I refute the errors of the Quran with reason. I criticize the misogyny in the Quran. I present the unscientific claims in the Quran and point out the truths of science. I do not attack those who believe in the Quran. I do not issue fatwas against them. Intelligent people should also write and criticize. Burning books is never right. Fascists burn books; they try to prevent knowledge and science from reaching people. Instead of burning the Quran, people should point out its inconsistencies. That work is better than burning. More effective than burning.
