Not until the problem of a severed spinal cord can be solved, and if that could be solved we first need to repair spinal cord damage for all paralyzed people with spinal cord damage.

No. And honestly transplants as a whole aren't truly possible because your body will reject foreign DNA. It's what its programmed to do. Organ recipients are put on a slew of drugs to prevent the body from rejecting

We are struggling to keep people alive after a liver transplant. Body transplant is just a dream.

No. I have a degree in Neurobiology, and the sheer complexity of the human brain, along with the time that rehabilitation would take, makes this pretty much impossible to do. Theoretically, it could work, but theory is far from reality. The brain would have to reform all of the pathways/connections it made to the original body, which would take years. Also, life support would be needed until the brainstem would be able to control basic functions such as breathing and heart rate. Your brain has perfectly adapted to the environment within your body, and transplanting it onto a completely different body would cause a massive disruption to the system.

That reminds me of the groundbreaking face transplant at the Cleveland Clinic, where surgeons spent 16 hours separating a donor's face and another 15 hours attaching it to Katie Stubblefield, the youngest patient in North America to undergo such a procedure. The photo of the process was even featured among National Geographic's 21 Most Attractive Images of the 21st Century
