The £1000 green fee is ridiculous, and to be honest with the bad press and controversy that will come with it, it shouldn't be part of the rota. Should be about golf for that week not politics.

It’s a great course especially since it was changed in 2014 but whilst Trump is its owner and/or has an eye on being President again it will remain outside the rota The R@A would not allow the Open to become a circus which it would undoubtedly be if Trump was owner.

No. Yes, it’s a great course but he’d want to land on the 18th and present the trophy. And at £1000 it’s priced out of the market for anyone but the rich. You downplay the issues with it like they’re nothing. And….the West coast hate the man.
