This is not "Chinese way", that's a common mathematical theorem. The question hinges on wether you know or remember the theorem. I remember it now from one of the many math courses I took in college, but I'm pretty sure I saw it in highschool too. But I've never used it

The binomial formulas were found by Alessandro Binomi, a italian Mathematican. So that's the italian way! 🤌
