the one in trb where adam sacrifices himself to cabeswater and gets whelk trampled. and the scene in the church in bllb where adam enlists ronan to dream up evidence to frame greenmantle. anything where adam shocks his friends by being morally dubious. i support adam’s wrongs.

I’m currently rereading the series and getting back to “I want you to know, I was more when I was alive” punched me in the chest again even harder than the first time I read it 😭 Noah Czerny my boy 🥺😭

too many to choose from tbh but. specifically in TDT, that bit where gansey is going home to visit his parents and “he and ronan had been a two-headed creature for so long” YOU KNOW. it lives in my mind rent-free. i love these codependent ass friends sm 😭🥺

“Ronan’s smile cut his face, but he looked kinder than Blue had ever seen him, like the raven in his hand was his heart, finally laid bare.” and the whole scene of adam and blue looking through all of ganseys stuff <3

sigh i would choose a lot, especially the blue/adam/noah hiking adventures. but alas, this passage is burnt into my mind. my beloved, quintessential adam parrish:

"Adam's expression was ferocious and pleased; Gansey was at once proud to know him and uncertain he did at all." and "I'm going to say this once and then I'm going to be done with it... But I think you're awfully brave." Are two of my absolute favorites :D

Gansey and Adam shared some sort of private conversation with their eyes. It also made her feel strangely jealous; she wanted something like that, a bond strong enough to transcend words.

i think about this scene heavily when pynch comes to mind, and the very obvious implication of adam being something ronan worships.

This made me laugh a lot because I feel like I’ve had this exact exchange a million times. For some reason people find my VERY simple name very confusing

“They filled the hallway to overflowing, somehow the three of them, loud and male and so comfortable with one another that they allowed no one else to be comfortable with them.”

“Depending on where you began the story, it was about Noah” I love this boy!!!

A scene that always hits close to my heart is after Adam and Blue’s fight and Adam dwells on part of him being just like his father, thinking that he’ll never truly escape him without magic to fix who he is inside. I also love scenes where they explore Cabeswater, so whimsical!:D

favorite line will always and forever be “adam lived in an apartment located above the office of st. agnes catholic church, a fortuitous combination that focused most of the objects of ronan’s worship into one downtown block” they make me sick /pos

I have a real soft spot for adam and a moment that has always moved me is him telling gansey that he and ronan kissed. being vulnerable with friends is so difficult and for him to receive a hesitant and somewhat hurtful response hits me. but gansey is also just being gansey ❤️
