KFB is such an unbelievable and unique match for Solana. Let me frame it this way: My professor back in the day was specialized in algorithms, data structures, software design and compiler building. Took us all the way through performance optimization hell in C. He was definitely goated and really formed me as a programmer. But KFB, not only with his background in supercomputing, is on a much higher, even more wholistic and interdisciplinary level. Solana is optimizing for both the hardware and software side of its technology while the whole crypto industry is rather focusing on conceptual adjustments in their software. It's insane how uniquely Solana is positioned - even crazier counting in KFB and the Firedancer team.

“There aren’t many high-quality, high-performance Layer 1s — but one in particular stood out once we dug into the details,” says Richard G Brown, reflecting on why the team selected Solana. It’s easy to point fingers at the U.S. Orange man bad is an easy target. But the silence on China is so bizarre. The propaganda is deep. I don’t know why it’s so much harder for Canadians to admit that China poses a much deeper, more strategic threat, economically, politically, and culturally. Canada’s relationship with China is not something to ignore. The decisions being made right now don’t feel (I hate making decisions based on “feelings” actually - LOOK based on the data and history) aligned with the interests of everyday Canadians. Watch our PM’s decision closely.
