You see that morning review aspect, I detest it greatly. Hospital is understaffed You are covering 20 to 30 patients over the night And in the morning, they roast you Consultants will roast you Fellow residents will be there asking you questions they know answers to and watch you struggle to answer

Doctors in Nigeria are overworked yet underpaid… then on Sunday Someone would say “God put the doctors to shame in my life” What do you mean? After that insane 36+hours call duty… Omo!!! Ascribe the glory to God without “shaming” the doctors… God bless our health workers!!!

F it, I ditched this useless life and I left. My ex-wife resented me. The chief surgeon and other consultants would laugh that they were sure my 7 month old did not know me. I knew I deserved better in this single life of mine. Leave if you can, you deserve more and better.

The amount of work doesn’t reflect Qlity of life. The man is supposed to drive a nice car to go to work and not be squeezed in public transportation. His house is supposed to look better than that. At least, a nice modern 3 bdr. He is an MD for crying out loud.

Yet our corrupt politicians are busy living large at the expense of the hard working citizens. It is about time we the citizens turn this the other way.

Living in Nigeria as a professional is like a stigma. I'm relating as an engineer, and I don't know how my profession manges to stay silent on this.
