In 2025, the Western States 100 is going to be a track meet. I think that in 5-10 years, almost every major ultra is going to be a track meet. Our big theory is that as ultrarunners probe the limits of human physiology, athletes will be leaving time on the table if they aren’t developing their true speed. And most athletes can’t leave time on the table as the margins get more and more narrow. That theory doesn’t mean you need to be ready for a track race—I would get my doors blown off at the Olympic Trials. It just means that every aspect of running economy has a relation to top speed. Mile speed is connected to 5k speed is connected to 100-mile speed is connected to multi-day speed. We all have our limiters, and pushing back the speed limit via strides and workouts causes immediate and sustained improvement even at very low effort levels. The same principles apply to athletes doing their first ultra or dreaming of staying ahead of cutoffs (it might even apply more). Plus, it’s fun. The amazing Cody Bare filmed my workout yesterday for The Feed (for an upcoming video series), and this is the finish of the final 3 minute interval. The session: 4 miles Z2 warm-up 6 x (3 min on/1 min easy/1 min on/1 min easy) GI training consisting of 32 oz fluid at once 2.5 miles Z2/Z3 steady running after workout At the end of the video, I go to my arms, inspired by track/trail runners like Allie Ostrander and Anna Gibson and Grayson Murphy (hitting 3:50 min/mile pace). As I said at the end with my hands on my knees: “fun.” It’s so exciting to see how our understanding of human limits is changing with big fueling, an emphasis on long-term health, and fun training. I am so inspired by everyone out there pushing their own limits, wherever those limits happen to be. I can’t wait to see where all of you go in 2025. Let’s be clear… after the crazy response on the first Manhattan video, here’s Part 2 of our FSD 14.3 Manhattan drive — and this one is even crazier. Spencer and I took my 2026 HW4 Model Y out for a full 2-hour drive through NYC, and it seriously delivered. This last 1-hour video is packed with wild moments that are gonna surprise you. We put FSD 14.3 through the scariest tests we could. We were honestly blown away by how it handled Spencer jumping in front of the car, crazy pedestrians, construction zones, road closures, hand gestures from workers, and so much more. Go to the projection tool and select long position. Click the top of the candle and drag to set your stop at the low of the candle and then set your risk to reward above to 1.5. 4. Go to the projection tool again and select short position… Click the bottom of the candle and drag your stop to the high of the candle and then set the risk to reward below to 1.5. 5. More often than not, if price is at the top of the candle, you really want to see a wick of the next candle take out the above liquidity to favor puts back down to the low of the candle and possibly to the set target… Vice versa if price is at the bottom of the candle, you want calls… Don’t diddle in the middle. Make sure the magnet tool is on if you want the levels to snap to the candle for more precision. Monthly candle - Daily candle for entry. Weekly candle - 4 hour candle for entry. Here is my full daily routine and scan process I follow. I swing trade stocks, and do all of my work in the last 30 min of the trading day. That's how I manage to average 100%+ returns/year with -10% max DD, entering my trades EOD. If you don't have a daily routine/process you adhere to, it will be almost impossible to make money swing trading stocks in the long term. I have the same routine and scanning process I followed for the past 6 years without fail. That's how you build consistency in your own trading and your setup/system/strategy. If you don't have a solid process you repeat every single day, you would be doing random stuff. Random stuff = losing money. Here is how my day goes: --> 3:30pm EST - I get to my laptop (yes, ditched the 5 monitors for a single laptop), - open up my software (TC2000, TradingView, and TWS) - And begin scanning on my long, short, and ETF scans on TradingView (see video attached for scan details and layout ✅) --> 3:50pm EST By this time, I: - already know which stocks are giving my signals according to my system, - I sort them in TradingView by ADR %, - And prioritize if I have more than 5 signals (that's my max limit per day) --> 3:58pm EST - Now I pre-loaded my orders on TWS, - check my position size to have a 1% risk per trade in all positions, - and execute just before the close --> 4:01pm EST - Markets are closed, so I add my Stop Loss and BE alarm - close my computer, and come back tomorrow in the last 30 minutes before the close and repeat... As you see, once you have your system and process in place, you can execute your system flawlessly, and that's what brings consistency and growth to your account over days, weeks, months, and years of doing the same thing over and over again... Build your process, and execute every day and you will grow with your system 📈
