You probably already know this, but the reason medical personnel get behind protective shielding is because they have to be around an x-ray machine more than once a day, every day, every week, every year. Xray maybe twice a year is nothing compared to that.

@Bruce_Cares This literally just happened to me. They didn’t give me that heavy cape/drape thing & i asked why not, told me X-rays r such low radiation doesn’t matter anymore & then proceeded to go one his “safe” side of the room.

It’s because you are only exposed to a small portion as they would be exposed to much more and it could hurt them.
