I think it’s imposter syndrome. LA has a lot of super stars on the Dodgers, and THAT can be overwhelming. He’s not the only player has struggled their first year.

What bothers me the most is Tucker's lack of hustle. Two dropped balls in the last week, and he loafs after them. As for sending him down, there are batting coaches (I hope) on every major league team. Fix it here, particularly in Colorado.
