@SheaWasBetter I know the pitch was down the dick, but that was a great AB by Vientos. He laid off and spoiled all those sliders and then punished the pitch he was supposed to.

Im a met fan. Roberts made the right call. Lindor is the mets best player. He just homered the previous inning. Set up a right on right matchup with vientos. Dont let the best player beat you. Right move, just didnt work.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts chose to load the bases by walking Lindor in hopes of getting an easier out, but Vientos punished that strategy by hitting a grand slam

Vientos looked lost the day before and sets up the force at any base. If the same situation happens today we put him on again. Not the wrong decision - just a terrible pitch after getting ahead 1-2 and then getting to a 3-2 count.

It was the right choice though… why pitch to the mvp candidate with a history of success and a hr in the game already when you can go after a 24 yr old who is more likely to be over aggressive? Vientos had a great ab but walking Lindor is the right move.
