While early, this Texas Baseball team did everything they could in their 15-0 start to the season. Facts are, the “lights” come on this week when SEC plays begins. We need more from them. They need more from us, the fans. Let’s turn up the volume. 🤘🏼⚾️

“I feel confidence is a choice. It’s a thought. It’s a feeling. If you can find your way to feel differently about that, everything is going to change, your body language is going to change and good things — when you carry yourself with good body language, confident body language, confident energy — more times than not, good things tend to happen.” Kiké Hernandez giving a mental performance masterclass. 🔥 Success leaves clues. Good luck to Kiké and the Los Angeles Dodgers as they take on the New York Yankees in Game 1 of the World Series tonight. ⚾️ #worldseries #mlb #dodgers #yankees

How it (Re) Started VS How It’s Going! 💙🍾🍾🍾 I know y’all are tired of hearing me tell the story about how nine seasons ago this team gave our son RJ -who was told that his autism would prevent him from ever having “meaningful employment” -to now being a clubhouse attendant on arguably the best team in baseball! 🙏🏽He was one of the first people to welcome Kiké Hernandez back to the team last year… and then last night …#8morewins Los Angeles Dodgers 💙🍾🍾🍾🍾 #nlcs #DodgersWin

Nah, it's definitely the Brewers. And I have data to back it up. By MLB Pipeline's own rankings, the Brewers have the #1 prospect in baseball and the same number in the top 100 as the Dodgers and one more than the Rays. I get going deeper than 100 is essential. So here is PLive's WEIGHTED top orgs going 300 prospects deep, since last year! Weighted in this case means it includes the rank (value), not just the number ranked. It's not particularly close!

Standing outside the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, a statue honors Jackie Robinson, not just as the trailblazing baseball legend who broke the MLB's color barrier in 1947, but as a remarkable multi-sport athlete with deep ties to this stadium. Before his Dodgers fame, Robinson starred in football for Pasadena Junior College, wearing number 55 and playing multiple games at the Rose Bowl. Robinson later excelled as a four-sport letterman at UCLA, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest athletes of his era.

Dear RJ💙 When you were three a developmental pediatrician diagnosed you with autism and told you all the things that you would NEVER do or be. One of the things that she said is that you would never have meaningful employment and all we heard was basically that your life wouldn’t have much meaning… Well, here you are 9 seasons in with an organization that gave you a shot at employment and gave your life meaning and purpose and now you have TWO World Series rings with your name on them!! 🎉🙏🏽🏆🏆 You work so hard. You grind and grind and always have a hug for everybody in the organization, whether it’s after a tough game or you’re unpacking the team at four in the morning …no matter what you always bring joy to that clubhouse. You’re so passionate about your job. You went from having no friends as a child to having a whole club house full of buddies who love you and care for you like family. Congratulations to your Dodgers. 🍾🍾🍾Congratulations to YOU! We are so proud of you. We are so proud of your team!! Thank you, Dodgers for being the best team in baseball on so many levels. Thank you Andrew, Lon, Stan, Earvin, Alex and Dave. Hiring inclusively is not only a great thing for the employee, but also brings so much unexpected added value to your workplace. Never let someone put limitations on your life, son!! Love, Mom & Dad #worldserieschampions #proudclubbymomma #proudclubbypoppa 🥹🥹🥹🏆🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾💙💙💙💙💙 ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

The Hangzhou Zoo, located in Zhejiang, Hangzhou, China, had to issue a statement this weekend after people saw this video and questioned if the Sun Bears at their zoo were actually humans dressed in costumes. The Zoo stated: “If you get someone to wear such thick fur in this summer heat, they won’t last more than a few minutes before they need to lie down,” said a spokesperson for the zoo. We are a government-operated zoo. There will never be situations like that." Apparently Sun Bears are very human-like in the way they move. Do you believe them?

🚨🎙️ Jürgen Klopp: “If you ask me who I believe will win the Premier League this season, I’ll say Chelsea.” “Everyone is talking about Manchester City and Arsenal, but I strongly believe in Xabi Alonso. I watched what he did at Leverkusen, and now he has Chelsea playing with confidence. I think he will get it done.” “And Liverpool? I’m sorry, but they are nowhere near the title contenders for me. Signing a new manager doesn’t suddenly make you a title-winning team.” “Chelsea are the team I would watch very closely. Xabi Alonso can surprise everyone.”

The Red Sox also acquired prospect OF Carlos Gutierrez (🔜) from the Giants in the deal that sent INF Marcelo Mayer back to the west coast. Gutierrez, 21, has been exceptional with San Francisco's High-A squad this season: ⚾️ .271 BA ⚾️ .826 OPS ⚾️ 15% BB / 20% K ⚾️ 124 wRC+ Gutierrez boasts an advanced approach at the plate, rarely chasing and limiting whiffs well. Baseball America also notes he rakes against fastballs. As far as the rest of the player? He's certainly a plus hit over power profile for now. The Red Sox have done a fantastic job of acquiring players with similar profiles, putting them on a bat speed program, and watching the EV90s (as well as SLG) take off. Enddy Azocar was one of those guys. Gutierrez is a more than capable defender in CF. He's got a good enough arm to stick there long term. He also runs very well (55-60 grade)... the 21-year-old has swiped 26 bases already this season. Gutierrez was signed by the Giants as an IAFA back in 2023 out of Mexico. He won't be Rule 5 eligible until 2027. The Red Sox lost a super high ceiling outfielder in Azocar earlier, but immediately replaced him with a sneaky good player in Gutierrez. Off the bat, I really like this acquisition and I see the vision. Good all-around tools and maybe some more pop on the way. Solid add.

NEW: The man who was seen ramming a parked Tesla Cybertruck on a four-wheeler has been identified as 33-year-old Demarqeyun Cox. This was not the only Tesla Cox allegedly rammed. Police say they started receiving reports of an extremely obese man ramming into parked Teslas. As the reports came in, one officer spotted Cox before questioning him. Cox gave a fake name before officers took him into custody. According to the Texarkana Police Department in Texas, Cox currently has a single felony for Criminal Mischief and Failure to Identify. More charges are likely coming.
