She is 100% correct. You can like the clothes, styles, attitudes of the opposite gender but you cannot change sex. From the basic cellular level, you are man or woman.

I love and appreciate her thoughts and approach. She reminds me of a Texas Gal I worked with. She retired a couple of years after I did. As she stated, she always was tom-boy, liked dressing like a "boy," and was not ashamed. She also is a lesbian. Not a lesbian that pushes "pride stuff," just someone who lives her life.
