Does anyone out here honestly still believe these were built as tombs?

The Bible makes no comment on the Egyptian pyramids, only that temple building started in Babel (Babylon) in about 2230 BCE. “They now said: “Come! Let us build a city for ourselves and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a celebrated name for ourselves, so that we will not be scattered over the entire face of the earth.” - Genesis 11:4 Some ancient myths suggest that some of the scattered families may have supposed that God might bring another flood because of their rebellion but the Bible makes no such assertion. It is also possible that temple building occurred in the last days before the flood, since it has always been Satan’s desire to build up a false form of worship for himself, anything to direct worship away from the Creator. Also, when Nimrod and his followers started to build a city with a Tower in Babel God said “said: “Look! They are one people with one language, and this is what they have started to do. Now there is nothing that they may have in mind to do that will be impossible for them. Come! Let us go down there and confuse their language in order that they may not understand one another’s language.” So Jehovah scattered them from there over the entire face of the earth, and they gradually left off building the city. That is why it was named Baʹbel, because there Jehovah confused the language of all the earth, and Jehovah scattered them from there over the entire face of the earth.” - Genesis 11:6-9 So, most of the pyramids in Egypt were likely built shortly thereafter, long before Abraham visited Egypt in about 1936 BCE. Abraham left Ur in Mesopotamia and crossed the Euphrates in 1943 BCE into the land of Canaan. Canaan was the name of one of Noah’s grandsons. The great ziggurat in Ur in Abraham’s hometown had probably been build in about 2170 BCE, about 150 years before Abraham was born. This was about 200 years after the deluge. Abraham was a descendant (10th generation) of Noah’s son Shem. While the Egyptians no doubt had endless construction projects during the 210 or so years the Israelites resided in the land (1728 BCE-1513 BCE), it would appear that by the time the Israelites became slaves, the Pyramids were probably completed. By the time they were delivered under the hand of Moses, Pharoahs were being buried in the Valley of the Kings, 280 miles south of Cairo. This statement made by Job (possibly in about 1613 BCE) who was sick and wished he were in the grave said…“With kings of the earth and their advisers, Who built for themselves places that are now in ruins, Or with princes who possessed gold, Whose houses were filled with silver.” - Job 3:17-19 Job’s homeland was vulnerable to attack by Sabeans (from the S) and Chaldeans (from the E). (Job 1:15, 17) Taken together, these factors would indicate a location E of the Promised Land and near Edom, somewhere in N Arabia.

Ever pile sand when you were younger? They were building things to reach the heavens, and this was the sturdiest obvious shape at the time.

The Great Pyramid is linked to Cheops’ tomb, but Herodot says his vault was outside. Hawass calls the sarcophagus too small. The tomb theory fails scientifically! Until 1646, the pyramid was tied to food, per St. Mark’s mosaics. #GreatPyramid

Nope ...

As hugely overbuilt for a tomb it’s not likely since the pyramids were mass produced.

No...they were conductors for Zero Point Energy.

Kings of the era made sure their legacy would live forever in hieroglyphs. They’re literally everywhere, except on or in the most magnificent structures. Does this make sense? Only if you believe that they didn’t build them and history is a lie..

At most as a masouleum, not as a tomb, because tombs need to be ready for a funeral, and funerals are unpredictable, can't be planned decades ahead.

Yes of course they were built as Tombs and there's no point considering other silly explanations, you fail to appreciate the importance of Tombs.
