Trump is not talking about just any crime Trump is talking about something specific that is not a crime When you sprinkled the word murder into this conversation, clearly, you are reviving an old statement to make it relevant to today. There is no evidence that Trump committed any crime

That's not what he's arguing in court. He's arguing he has immunity from crimes because he was President.

The way I see it… executive privilege only goes so far. Clear evidence of crimes (for which there is ample evidence) should be prosecuted even if the person was president.

How many US Presidents have been in prison in history? Think about it Ed. Thinking is painless. All of the charges against Trump are bogus. The truth is, you cheer on the authoritarian Biden Regime using the tactics of Hitler and Stalin.

To a degree, he’s right. If the Presidents commits crimes or misdemeanours in office, there’s a vehicle that can be utilised to hold him to account. That’s called Impeachment. That should be the only mechanism used to convict or punish a presidents actions

So if I rob a bank, should my only punishment be that I lose my job? That's absurd. He's not above the rule of law. So a President could remain in office after losing, and then threaten to kill anyone who impeaches him? Is that what you are saying?

Biden and Obama can be in big trouble if the precedent is set that once outside of office, they can be prosecuted.

You are taking this to the most extreme. Biden has committed the same crime as Trump by taking classified documents out of the White House. So should he be impeached and thrown in jail?

What law did Trump break? Do Presidents have Executive Privilege is probably the question that you are really asking, and that would be yes. You’re assuming he’s guilty l of what crime?

🏝️🏝️ well said and simply put so even MAGA and the GOP can understand the importance and danger of setting the precedent - no one is above the law 🏝️🏝️
