The transcript reads naivedya or prasad. There is a slight distinction between naivedya ( नैवेद्य ) and prasad ( प्रसाद ). What we offer to God is naivedya. God blesses that and then it becomes prasad. Thoughts?

Bogus logic. Comparing chalk and cheese.

The deity is believed to consume the naivedyam in its subtle, or sukshma, form, while the physical, or sthula, form remains for the devotees to partake of.

The way I understand is that the Bhaav or the intent is in the Naivedya that is important… the love and devotion that we pour into making it, the physical aspect is symbolic of those emotions that we experience while preparing the Naivedya! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Ohhhhh i get it now, just like when souls leave the physical existence behind after judgement and their devotion to God and do good, the food also reaches gods in the form of devotion , but the physical existence remains to ease the hunger of mortals.

I wish mahapariva was known with the concept of tangible and non tangible things. Pathetic concept it is. God doesnt need any food to live.
