People have a right to self determination and a state's right to exist derives from that right and does not exist separately and apart from the will of the people. Israel's right to exist is not inherent but derivative. And it has no right to exist at the expense of others.

Israel is a rogue state whose people are filled with vile hatred and cannot discern right from wrong. I used to reflexively say yes to that question when debating my zionist friends. But since the genocide in Gaza and the continued abuse in the West Bank, I actually took time to think about it and the answer is no. Jews deserve to exist, but not that festering sore of a state.

In philosophy there is a term, "metaphysical of presence," which essentially means demanding a right to exist absolutely and for all time. It's not really available to us mortals and I'm beginning to think that those throwing around the phrase "right to exist" are playing God.
