Does it make much difference to you?

Ohhhh...Yeah? How is this even a question still. I swear console players who are still okay with 30 fps in modern day just dont deserve anything better.

they are both 30, change my mind

Looking at it, no. Playing it, yes.

Not on x, since every video on x is at max 44 fps. but yes you can see the difference between 30 and 60 and also between 60 and 120

It does make a big difference and anyone saying otherwise is just lying to themselves 💀

Yes

I care mostly about stability and legibility. A game designed for 60FPS that runs at 30 isn't great. A game designed for 30 is fine at 30.

30fps is more cinmatic 60fps you miss stuff

No, because the human eye can’t see more than 18 FPS. You can fact-check it on the internet. Imagine buying a PC when the human eye can only see 18 FPS anyway. Total waste of money. That’s why consoles are ahead in the gaming industry.

Why do so many pc players act like its a fucking sin to enjoy games at 30fps? Like seriously the only games that matter for a 60fps experience are fps and fast paced sports games. But that pc master race has to push their agenda.

You obviously don’t understand what fps is. It’s not something you see it’s something you feel when playing.

Nope

From my own personal experience 30fps vs 60fps = big difference (animations are much smoother 60fps vs 120fps = big difference (animations are even more smooth) 120fps vs 240fps = very subtle difference (mouse cursor movement is smoother) 240fps vs 480fps = hardly noticeable

Maybe donate your cornea to someone who actually can make use of it

Yes it's alot smoother and just plays different in 60 FPS from 30 👍

A little but not enough that makes me care on what way I play lol I started out on games like duckshoot and pacman and dig-dug and shit like that so it really doesn't bother me 😂

Only poor people don’t see a difference

30 works if you have a controller and it doesn't drop. Its the sudden drop in FPS that kills it, IMO.

It does when I play and not in a video . Try to rotate the camera, see how this works. Maybe you just need to buy a PC and get used to 90-120 fps. Then you can revisit this post and tell us how wrong (intentionally or not) you were.

This is the worst place to ask that question because videos on X cap out at like 40fps.... we literally can't see the difference you are trying to demonstrate on this platform.

Once u have 60 fps anything above that is pure delusion

I play on both, don't care about the difference. I've played on an emulator that ran 15-20 at one point. I'm good on either setting. 🤷🏽♂️ It's pretentious when people make it seem like 30 is unbearable. 😂

dont look at video with compression. play the game you can feel the different between those FPS.

This debate was settled over a decade ago. Yes, it does.

Doesn't x cap out clips at 40fps? And watching that may not show much of a difference, but when you're playing a game with 60+ fps you definitely feel it.

It's a sin to play fast paced games at anything less than 60fps. That said if you are used to 30fps it wont bother you much, it only really hits home after you accustomed yourself to 60fps, it's impossible to go back without noticing it and it ruining your experience.

Playing with HIGH frames makes artifacts in the back ground animate much smoother and more life like! Playing the avatar game in 3rd person and seeing the tree and foliage sway in the wind looks amazing and that’s due to me getting over 100fps.

High fps is better it but stable fps is the most important for gameplay experience.

It doesn't matter as much in 3rd person games, but anything below 120 frames hurts me. Have consoles finally achieved 60 frames or something? Weak.

You are asking this on a platform that doesn’t support 60fps 💀 how tf is anyone gonna answer that when the video only plays in 30

L post since only able tell properly if playing yourself. Movies are 24 fps still look great but try playing a game in 24 fps be goofy af.

Depends on the game tbh, but not ultimately

For the people who does not understand frame rates or does not see any difference read this: if you does not see difference between 30-60 or 60-above maybe you're eyes cannot see then, i can see so that's on me, if you can't not my prob

Tremendous difference though less than 60 fps has never stopped me from playing a game I was interested in.

No... I could live with it.
