This needs to be said loud and clear. Israel is not attacking Lebanon. They are targeting Hezbollah. An Iranian funded terror proxy that has struck Israel 2,000 times since the April ceasefire. Israel has every right to defend itself. Don’t fall for the Iranian regime’s distraction.

Israel is in Lebanon for one reason: Hezbollah keeps using Lebanese territory to fire rockets at Israeli civilians, and no serious country would sit back and allow that to continue. Lebanon should never allow terrorists to turn its land into a launchpad for attacks on another nation. I think Israel is right on this. When terrorists strike from across your border, you have every right to defend your people and push the threat back.

The Lebanese government has been saying all the right things and approving all the right resolutions, but we can't tell whether the state is unwilling or unable to disband Hezbollah.
