According to Calvinism, yes.

If Calvinism is consistent with its version of predestination which of course is different from that of the bible then the answer is YES because the bible otherwise teaches something else. But we all know that J.M wasn't consistent.

Calvin said "sola election". The response-abilty of men" (as a parallel truth MacArthur), is a lie. (the 1st becomes "hyper-calvinism" or "double predestination). If Calvin was wrong, (MacArthur), this proves Calvinism today is just a fanciful "doctrinal evolving pick-n-mix"
