Does Prophethood include Ishmael in the Quran ?

Hajj 22:3: وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَٰنٍ مَّرِيدٍ Wa mina'n-nāsi man yujādilu fī Allāhi bi-ghayri ʿilmin wa-yattabiʿu kulla shayṭānin marīd. “Among the people are those who dispute about Allah without any knowledge and follow every rebellious devil.” Hajj 22:8: وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَٰبٍ مُّنِيرٍ Wa mina'n-nāsi man yujādilu fī Allāhi bi-ghayri ʿilmin wa-lā hudan wa-lā kitābin munīr. “And among the people are those who dispute about Allah without any knowledge, any guidance, or an illuminating Book.” The interesting part is that in al-Māʾidah 5:46, the Gospel given by Allah to Jesus (peace be upon him) is described in almost exactly the same terms used in Hajj 22:8: وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ Wa ātaynāhu al-Injīla fīhi hudan wa-nūr. “And We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light.” In Hajj 22:8, the expressions هُدًى (hudan - guidance) and كِتَابٍ مُنِيرٍ (kitābin munīr - an illuminating Book) are used, while the Gospel given by Allah to Jesus (peace be upon him) is described in al-Māʾidah 5:46 as هُدًى وَنُورٌ (hudan wa-nūr - guidance and light). Moreover, مُنِير (munīr - illuminating) and نُور (nūr - light) come from the same Arabic root, ن و ر (n-w-r). On the one hand, the Qur'an speaks of people who dispute about Allah without knowledge, without relying on any guidance or illuminating Book; on the other hand, the Gospel that Allah gave to Jesus (peace be upon him) is specifically described as containing “guidance and light.” Alongside this, the Qur'an also reports the following statement made by Christians about Allah: لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَاثَةٍ “They have certainly disbelieved who say, ‘Allah is the third of three.’” (al-Māʾidah 5:73) And again, addressing the People of the Book, the Qur'an says: يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًا مِمَّا كُنْتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ “O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you, making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture, while overlooking much.” (al-Māʾidah 5:15) I am simply placing these verses side by side. The conclusion, I think, is quite clear!

thats not an error, thats one of the judeo-chistian verses which Uthman / Abu Bakr forgot to "islamize". Likewise Mohamet is only a local warner (li-umm il-qura) in this textual layer.

You believe Allah created the Torah. God says to Abraham he will give his covenant through Isaac and his descendants, not to Ishmael.

If Prophet Muhammad had authored the Quran himself, wouldn't he have dedicated it entirely to glorifying his own name and tribe, while sidelining past prophets? Isn't the fact that the Quran contains Surah Muhammad alongside chapters named after Abraham, Moses, Noah, and Jesus,..

The verse starts with "we blessed him......" who is the him referring to? Abraham...the verse is talking about Abraham and prophethood was promised to him through Ismail and Isaac!

People must first understand. God is a God of order. He has to honor His covenant, otherwise He would not be God. God does not dabble in unknowns. If He wanted the promise to go through Ishmael, why would he allow Sarah to have Isaac?
