Does Ronnie James Dio have the most powerful voice in Rock & Roll history? 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I would go with Ian Gillian. Ronnie and him have similar resumes. Was the original Jesus Christ Superstar singer also.

Go listen to take four of Peace Frog nobody could drop the hammer like Jim when he wanted to

Great thing about Dio was he could also do the melodic songs very well. Temple of The King being a great example thereof.

Without a doubt. The fact that he could project like that without needing to scream or ruin his vocal cords is unmatched

He is certainly a contender. Halford and Gillan were also powerful.

No. That would be Ian Gillan.

Absolutely I listened to Man on the Silver Mountain last night multiple times 🤘🏆🏆🏆

Def at the top.

This may be a correct statement. I witnessed Sacred Heart tour 85 with Vivian Campbell. One of the most memorable shows of my lifetime. 🤘

He definitely knew the correct technique, from the diaphragm.🤘🤘

Stargazer goes crazy man one of my fav songs atm

Steve Marriott

Definitely between him Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson

Dio is among the greats in rock singers along with Dickinson, Geoff Tate, and Ann Wilson, just to name a few.

No, Robert Plant did.

Have you heard Chris Farlowe with Colosseum?

I prefer Bruce Dickinson. I’m listening to Iron Maiden right now.

Stevie Marriott

Definitely

He never warmed up. Just straight into it.

James Hetfield has been doing it for decades at the very highest level! But Freddie Mercury is probably the correct answer.
