“Is Mickey Mouse racist?” That’s the question Congressman Brandon Gill asked Smithsonian Director Anthea Hartig point-blank during a House hearing Tuesday. The director faced pointed questions from House Republicans over "woke" exhibits and materials, including a display linking Mickey Mouse to racism.

We can’t even enjoy Mickey Mouse anymore. Congressman Brandon Gill just joined to break down his viral exchange with the Smithsonian, and why it exposes the ABSURDITY of the academy: “To most normal people, Mickey Mouse is just a cartoon that people like to watch when they’re 5 years old. He’s kind of an iconic American figure.” “If you’re going to say Mickey Mouse is rooted in racism, then defend that. Explain to the American people why you think Mickey Mouse is racist.” “I hope Democrats embrace this stuff, because if they do, we’ll continue to win elections. Every single cycle.”

MUST WATCH: Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) UTTERLY EVISCERATES the WOKE far-left National Museum of American History Director Anthea Hartig. Brandon Gill: “Is Mickey Mouse racist?” Anthea Hartig: “Mickey Mouse is not racist.” Brandon Gill: “One of your exhibits referenced Mickey Mouse as representing “messages of long standing traditions of black face minstrelsy.’ Would you describe that as racist?” Anthea Hartig: “No… [Mickey Mouse] is rooted in minstrelsy.” Brandon Gill: “Can you help me square why your organization says that being polite is part of being a White supremacist?” Anthea Hartig: “I’m not exactly familiar with that passage…” Brandon Gill: “I can show you the passage.”

A once proud institution dedicated the American history has been corrupted by radical liberal ideology. Instead of promoting the unmatched exceptionalism of America, the Smithsonian seems more concerned with dismantling the “hetero-patriarchy” (whatever that means), labeling Mickey Mouse as racist, and shaming Americans as colonists. Watch my opening statement below:
