He is blasting accetalyne with no oxygen it's going to produce tons of soot.

Yes this is normal. The black thing is carbon from the torch and the reason why it doesn't melt easily is because it evaporates and caries the heat with it. Heat is not the same as temperature.

If you understand science, yes, this is completely normal and predicted.

No, some moron making that video and posting it online is not normal.

Yes, actually. The flame is hot enough that the snow sublimates directly to vapor without melting to water first. The butane, gas, or whatever is leaving a residue on the snow. Put that same snow in a pot on your stove & heat it up & it will melt normally.

Learn what incomplete combustion is and yes it’s normal. Dumbass is purposely not mixing the fuel right, creating soot

Easy analysis without using fire. When your dog doesn't wanna eat the snow, you know something is wrong.

Straight Acetylene makes Soot when it burns. Soot is an insulator. Turn on the Oxygen (no more soot) and see what it does 🤣🤣🤣

That's an acetylene torch..... It emits tons of soot ffs. Fake as fuck. Just like the lighter videos on the snowballs

I usually just eat the snow. Don't bother melting it.

I don't think they understand how much energy melting ice/snow takes. It takes almost as much energy as bringing water from 0C to 100C. His torch (with O2!) might output 10kW. With losses it would take a full minute to melt 1 kg of snow.
