I used to do alignments. This is a good tip for getting to alignment shop after replacing suspension parts, or if your car doesn't have caster or camber adjustments. You need to hold the steering wheel straight when you adjust the tie rod, or the steering wheel will be turned a little after. Can fix that after the fact but it's easier just to hold it in the right spot. They have tools for this.

This is how alignments used to be done. It’s not quite as precise as the new technology such as a Hunter Elite alignment machine, obviously, lol, but it does the trick. I know this business, so this is not false information. 🌙
