My first dog was a German Shepherd and my second. I have a special affection for them. They live to please and protect you.

When I was a kid living in the projects, I befriended and started feeding a very large stray German Shepherd in my neighborhood who sort of adopted me. I named him Big John. Anyone who’s ever lived in the projects knows that some of the people who live there are bad people. He walked with me to school everyday and was waiting for me everyday to walk me home. He ran beside me when I rode my bike and always inserted himself between me and strangers and would often growl menacingly. It made me feel safe. Unfortunately, after a couple of years, he didn’t show up anymore and I never saw him again. But I will never forget him.

I’ve always hated these type of videos. Even if they pretend to abuse the kids (it looks like she actually hit the kid in the first video) or spouses. The getting the dogs upset for a video or for the reaction is sickening. We all know dogs are better spirits than most humans.

Children with good dogs nearby don't get abducted.

Did you know that dogs can sense our emotions? Their tails might be wagging, but it's their eyes that truly show us they're in tune

Shepherds are amazing, I grew up with them and had no other breed, I suggest a pair I had a pair of males and then a pair of females, now I have a male and female neutered and spayed of course, they are family not breeders.

Never stop your dog from barking, they are your first burgler alarm. Encourage the bond with your children. Dogs are amazingly loving and protective. Bad dogs are the result of abuse and bad owners. Not all dogs are bad. A well trained dog is worth their weight in gold.

OK, and first of all most of these videos are taken from a website that specifically trained these dogs Most dogs are not at this level of training or discipline Not saying it doesn’t happen, but these dogs are trained specifically for protection and bred specifically for it

Oh how I miss my GSD..🥰🥰 he was a beast and the best protection a female could ever hope for. He just knew ...rest in peace my beloved Jake. Now I have a rescue who needs me to protect him..🤣

German shepherds and Malinois are the best dogs that there are. They’re not as fun as Huskies, but they will die for you.

@HowardLinville2 When I was a diaper wearing baby, we had a German Shepherd. Had her till I was 9. As a baby, my mom said this dog would lay w/ me, protect me, treat me like her pup. One day, she opened my diaper & started to clean my ass, that’s what my mom told us. Dogs are 1ST CLASS & THE BEST

I had a Belgian Malinois and a man got close to my daughter and my dog ripped his arm open, through his winter coat. I wasn’t even outside. My daughter was alone in the yard.

We don’t deserve dogs ♥️
