Jeff Bezos explained why every generation gets the future wrong in the exact same way. He asked a room to imagine going back to 1920 and telling a farmer that “massage therapist” would be a real career. Bezos: “They would not have believed you.” A friend took it further. Bezos: “Forget massage therapist, there are dog psychiatrists.” He looked it up. Bezos: “Sure enough, you can easily hire a psychiatrist for your dog.” Nobody caught what just happened. Every technological revolution in history has created more jobs than it destroyed. Every single one. No exceptions. And every single time, we panicked anyway. Because the jobs being destroyed always have names. The jobs being created never do. That is not a footnote. That is the mechanism. The human brain treats what it can name as real and what it can’t name as fantasy. No generation in history has ever overcome that instinct. We are not overcoming it now. Right now AI fear has everything. Job titles. Timelines. Research papers. Congressional hearings. AI opportunity has nothing. No names. No categories. No vocabulary. Not because the opportunity is smaller. Because it requires inventions nobody has built, inside industries that don’t exist, solving problems nobody has discovered. A farmer in 1920 couldn’t imagine “social media strategist.” Not because he lacked intelligence. Because radio, television, personal computers, the internet, smartphones, social platforms, and the creator economy all had to exist first. Seven inventions deep. Every link in that chain had to be built before the job could even be a sentence. The limitation was never imagination. It was infrastructure. You cannot think your way to a job that requires technology nobody has invented. The brain doesn’t fail here. Language does. We are standing at the first link in a chain we can’t see the end of. Making confident predictions about the last one. The fear sounds credible because it’s specific. The opportunity sounds naive because it’s invisible. But specificity is not accuracy. And invisibility is not absence. The historical record is undefeated. Every “this time is different” has been wrong. Not most of the time. Every time. The very fact that we’re afraid is the proof. We only panic about technologies powerful enough to reshape everything. And technologies powerful enough to reshape everything have never once failed to create more than they destroyed. The fear is not evidence the future is dark. The fear is evidence the opportunity is so large we don’t have language for it yet. The jobs AI creates will sound as absurd to us as “dog psychiatrist” would’ve sounded to a farmer in 1920. Until someone’s running a waitlisted practice charging $300 an hour.

In the heart of a country under attack, hope takes many forms. Today in Ukraine, we visited powerful projects supported by Belgium that aim to protect, heal and rebuild with people at the centre of it all. Enabel, our agency for international cooperation, is one of the first to be active on the ground. It’s building bomb shelters for schools. Not bunkers of fear, but sanctuaries of learning. Thanks to this work, children can continue to study and teachers can carry on teaching, even in the midst of danger. It’s a symbol of quiet defiance: education will not be silenced. Belgium is proud to be a pioneer, not just in words but in action with Belgian professionals on site, working hand in hand with Ukrainians to rebuild, protect, and create a future worth fighting for. At Save Ukraine, we saw another deeply human side of the war. Children separated from their parents, victims of sexual violence, young lives broken by trauma, but also supported with care, dignity and an unwavering commitment to their recovery. The human cost of Russia’s aggression is enormous. But so is the strength of those who rise to meet it. What struck me most throughout the day was not just the courage, but the warmth. Everywhere we went, we were met with open arms, full hearts, and tables laden with sandwiches, chocolate, tea and coffee. Ukrainian hospitality is not a gesture. It’s a force. A quiet yet powerful act of resistance and grace. In every shelter, in every classroom, in every embrace, Ukrainians are already building the future. A future rooted in hope, dignity, and freedom. Belgium will continue to stand beside them, not only in rebuilding, but in reimagining what comes next. Belgium in Ukraine 🇧🇪 Belgium MFA

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 “NATO is weak, cause it did not attack the Russian convoy” and “we’re working on the Georgian Maidan” 🗣️ Vovan and Lexus prank with Prank with Paul Massaro, senior policy advisor to the US commission on security and cooperation in Europe. Paul massaro says a lot of interesting things about the inner workings of US foreign policy: 0:23 What’s the mood in the US congress? Most senators don’t really care. The US president has the authority. 1:16 Every administration tries to make peace with Russia, but Russia is doing something bad to derail that. 2:08 Trump really believes Russia wants peace? Trump is NOT a Russia puppet, he is slightly Russia friendly, but he doesn’t know about Ukraine. Trump needs to give Ukraine everything and sanction Russia. But Trump just wants to end it and he doesn’t care how. 4:01 we want to focus on China, but Russia won’t let us. 4:23 “if Russia were defeated and humbled finally that would also let us focus on other pressing national security issues” 5:31 USAID and NED problems? They were productive in Ukraine and Georgia, but promoted too much woke ideology Maybe their shutdown was illegal, so the next president might bring them back. 7:21 What’s going on in Georgia? 7:57 Ukraine is the better Russia. “there's no place worse to be a Christian than Russia” 8:46 US needs to help Ukraine get closer to Turkey. Turkey is a counterweight to Russia. They’re willing to shoot down Russian jets. 9:13 NATO is a constraint on our actions 9:23 Russian opposition does not have the answer, you need defeat of Russia for change. The Russian identity as it's currently constituted is the problem. 10:09 Supporting Russian minorities is away to break up Russia 11:57 Ukraine will not join NATO? I mean Ukraine is already effectively a NATO state. But NATO is diminished itself because it did not bombed the Russian convoy driving to Kiev. But everything can be reversed again with the next president, so Ukraine may join NATO. 13:58 Poland and Ukraine will stop Russia from attacking Europe, not NATO. Poland understands it can’t rely on NATO. 14:35 What should Ukraine do? Hit oil, support separatists groups in Russia, get close to Turkey and Poland. 15:25 Im skeptical towards Germany and France. France is big words and nothing happens. 16:08 Maidan Coup in Georgia “were working very hard at this” 16:59 Olympic committee change policy towards Russia

🚨 WOW! President Trump just went OFF on Pope Leo "I like his brother Louis much better than I like him, because Louis is all MAGA. He gets it, and Leo doesn’t!" "I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon." "Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy. He talks about “fear” of the Trump Administration, but doesn’t mention the FEAR that the Catholic Church, and all other Christian Organizations, had during COVID when they were arresting priests, ministers, and everybody else, for holding Church Services, even when going outside, and being ten and even twenty feet apart." "I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country." "And I don’t want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States because I’m doing exactly what I was elected, IN A LANDSLIDE, to do, setting Record Low Numbers in Crime, and creating the Greatest Stock Market in History." "Leo should be thankful because, as everyone knows, he was a shocking surprise. He wasn’t on any list to be Pope, and was only put there by the Church because he was an American, and they thought that would be the best way to deal with President Donald J. Trump." "If I wasn’t in the White House, Leo wouldn’t be in the Vatican. Unfortunately, Leo’s Weak on Crime, Weak on Nuclear Weapons, does not sit well with me, nor does the fact that he meets with Obama Sympathizers like David Axelrod, a LOSER from the Left, who is one of those who wanted churchgoers and clerics to be arrested." "Leo should get his act together as Pope, use Common Sense, stop catering to the Radical Left, and focus on being a Great Pope, not a Politician. It’s hurting him very badly and, more importantly, it’s hurting the Catholic Church!"

🚨BREAKING: ICE is attempting to kidnap parents from outside their homes, fully prepared to leave young children behind with no adult present. In this video, in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, ICE is taking a single mother, who has Family Reunification Parole, while her children are inside the house. She stepped outside to warm up her car. ICE approached her and tried to take her immediately. She is begging him to wait. Begging him to let her call someone. Both of her children are U.S. citizens. ICE was prepared to take this woman away while her young children waited inside, unsupervised. And this isn’t an accident. This is the direct result of the Trump administration terminating DHS Family Reunification Parole. That policy was created because separating children from their parents causes extreme, lasting harm. Kids disappear when systems fail. Because family separation leads to trauma, exploitation, and trafficking… the thing republicans use to scream about nonstop. And now they are silent when children are openly being trafficked. This mother already lived through that once. In 2018, under Trump, she was taken by the government and separated from her daughter, who is now 8 and a U.S. citizen. Her child suffered severe trauma as a result. Under the Biden administration, there was an effort to undo some of that damage. Families were reunited, and she got her child back. Now she’s a single mom of two. And they’re doing it again. By terminating Family Reunification Parole, DHS is once again forcing impossible choices on asylum seekers and undocumented parents… Take your children back to the dangerous conditions you fled, where they could be killed or trafficked… or leave them here, where they can be dumped into a broken foster system, separated from family, and trafficked anyway. That’s not “border security.” That’s state-sanctioned child endangerment. We already know what happens when you rip children from their parents. We already watched kids vanish. We already watched the trauma. Republicans spent years claiming “unaccompanied minors” were being trafficked into this system… When the reality was, many of those children were placed with family members. Now, they are deliberately CREATING unaccompanied minors who don’t have family here… Making it easier than ever, in an already broken system, to traffic children. Every Republican accusation is a confession.

BITCOIN RAILS EPISODE #18: MAKE BITCOIN QUANTUM RESISTANT | with BIP360 author Hunter Beast Hunter Beast 🕯️ Quantum computing is a complicated topic—one that incites equal amounts of fear and skepticism depending on who you talk to… especially in Bitcoin. In this episode, BIP360 author Hunter Beast wisely shares why the “truth is likely somewhere in the middle,” citing incremental advancements in quantum computing that may eventually pose a legitimate threat to some Bitcoin addresses—as well as steps we can take to protect ourselves in the short, medium and long term. The correct posture is to “be prepared, not scared,” says Hunter Beast 🕯️ Ultimately, the introduction of quantum resistant cryptography—via proposals like BIP360—will be needed for higher degrees of security. That said, individuals can mitigate personal risk substantially through proper address-use hygiene. This episode breaks down the specific challenges Bitcoin will face in the event of a quantum attack, the likelihood of an attack over time, and the steps we’ll need to take at the individual and communal level to ensure Bitcoin’s safety. This episode includes detailed discussion of: 1) How quantum computing could potentially affect Bitcoin public/private key cryptography—and technologies built on vulnerable addresses (e.g. Taproot) 2) Best practices for protecting yourself against quantum in the short and long term 3) Implications of vulnerable address types—e.g. what about Satoshi’s coins? 4) Deep Dive into BIP360 + proposed long-term solutions 5) Industry roadmaps for quantum computing + how banks and governments are preparing for “Q Day” As always, this episode can be viewed on Spotify or YouTuve—full episode in the comments or linktree in my bio. I was born in a country where no one, not even in their worst nightmares, imagined Iran would become the Islamic Republic. By the age of two, I was growing up in England. I’ve seen this movie before. Personally. Today, we joke and call London Londonistan. We joke and call Britain the Islamic Republic of Britain. But jokes are how denial makes itself tolerable. Look at France. Look at Germany. Look at Europe as a whole. This does not happen overnight. It happens through appeasement. Through the comforting lie that it can’t happen here. Through giving an inch and watching it become a mile. Look at England. There is a Muslim mayor in nearly every major city. Political power has shifted quietly, steadily, and decisively. Criticism is no longer debated. It is policed. Look at how British authorities treated the British-Iranian diaspora when they protested against the Islamic Republic. Anti-regime protesters were beaten, kettled, and arrested. Some were detained while wounded — pulled out of hospitals. Meanwhile, regime sympathizers operated with near impunity. Look at what happened to Tommy Robinson. Look at the grooming gangs that were ignored for years because speaking the truth was deemed “offensive.” This is how it works: the state doesn’t need to agree with Islamism. It only needs to fear being called intolerant. And don’t tell yourself this is just a European problem. In the United States, organized groups have been pushing for Sharia courts in Texas and Arizona for years. Quietly. Incrementally. Always framed as harmless. Always sold as “cultural accommodation.” Then there’s Mamdani, the normalization. The acceleration. The proof of how fast the Overton window moves once appeasement becomes policy. One day, your voice is still there. The next, it’s gone, pulled out from under your feet. And only then do people look back and say, there were signs. Yes. There were signs. You just chose to ignore them. People like me keep saying this because we’ve already lived it. We know how it ends. If you think you can look away and believe it will never happen where you live, that is exactly where the danger begins. We’ve seen this movie before. Wake up!!
