Fun fact, hound dogs are pretty effective against large and small game. Terrier breeds were designed specifically to be mousers on ships and other areas. Cats are just more agile and precise with strikes where it's dogs can borrow and brute force their way

Not at all. Terriers especially are notorious rat killers, much more prolific than cats.

I watched a documentary about that in England, guy had 10 dogs different breeds but all raters. Gut would pick up a piece of aluminum and 40 50 rats scattered and dogs went crazy trying to kill them all.

Let's be real here, dogs are way more effective pest control than the average cat. Paired with minks/ferrets they are genuinely unstoppable.

I saw a guy on YouTube, he has a pest control company. He uses dogs and a weasel to catch the rats
